30062016 Gospel Mt 9:1-8

Jesus got back into the boat, crossed the lake again, and came to his hometown. Here, they brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a bed. Jesus saw their faith and said to the paralytic, “Courage, my son! Your sins are forgiven.”

Some teachers of the law said within themselves, “This man insults God.” Jesus was aware of what they were thinking; and said, “Why have you such evil thoughts? Which is easier to say: ‘Your sins are forgiven’ or ‘Stand up and walk’? But that you may know, that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins,” he said to the paralyzed man, “Stand up! Take your stretcher and go home!” The man got up, and went home.

When the crowds saw this, they were filled with awe, and praised God for giving such power to human beings.

Repleksiyon:

Dili man tuho sila motuo na an gahum ni Jesus gikan kan God.

29062016 Gospel Mt 16:13-19

After that, Jesus came to Caesarea Philippi. He asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” They said, “For some of them, you are John the Baptist; for others Elijah, or Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.”

Jesus asked them, “But you, who do you say I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “It is well for you, Simon Barjona, for it is not flesh or blood that has revealed this to you, but my Father in heaven.
And now I say to you: You are Peter; and on this Rock I will build my Church; and never will the powers of death overcome it.

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you unbind on earth shall be unbound in heaven.”

Repleksiyon:

Inhatag dija an mga liyabe nan kaharian nan langit despuwes, kon sin’o kuno an ija gapuson sa kalibutan, amo ‘sab an gapuson sa langit sanan kon sin’o ‘sab an ija hubaron, amo’y ‘sab hubaron sa langit.

Uno’y kahuyugan nan ini?

Si Peter an tasangunan ni Jesus nan gahum na pamunuan an Ija Church na Ija tagmugna sa kalibutan, ugsa na sija an pinaka-una na Pope nan Catholic Church.

Amo na isa ra gajud na tinood na Universal Church, an Catholic Church.

28062016 Gospel Mt 8:23-27

As Jesus got into a boat, his disciples followed him.

Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by waves;
but he was asleep.

They came and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”

He said to them, “Why are you terrified, O you of little faith?”

Then he got up, rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was great calm.

The men were amazed and said, “What sort of man is this, whom even the winds and the sea obey?”

Repleksiyon:

27062016 Gospel Mt 8:18-22

When Jesus saw the crowd pressing around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake. A teacher of the law approached him; and said, “Master, I will follow you wherever you go.” Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”

Another disciple said to him “Lord, let me go and bury my father first.” But Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their dead.”

Repleksiyon:

24062016 Gospel Lk 1:57-66, 80

When the time arrived for Elizabeth to have her child she gave birth to a son.

Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had shown his great mercy toward her, and they rejoiced with her.

When they came on the eighth day to circumcise the child, they were going to call him Zechariah after his father, but his mother said in reply, "No. He will be called John.”

But they answered her, "There is no one among your relatives who has this name.” So they made signs, asking his father what he wished him to be called.

He asked for a tablet and wrote, “John is his name,” and all were amazed. Immediately his mouth was opened, his tongue freed, and he spoke blessing God.

Then fear came upon all their neighbors, and all these matters were discussed throughout the hill country of Judea.

All who heard these things took them to heart, saying, "What, then, will this child be?” For surely the hand of the Lord was with him.

The child grew and became strong in spirit,  and he was in the desert until the day of his manifestation to Israel.

Repleksiyon:

(Note: Gusto nako ipa-ambit dijo an repleksiyon nako nan adton June 24, 2011 kay tan'aw nako, bagan marajaw 'sab seguro balikan an kahapon nako.)

23062016 Gospel Mt 7:21-29

Jesus said to his disciples: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name? Did we not drive out demons in your name? Did we not do mighty deeds in your name?’ Then I will declare to them solemnly, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you evildoers.’

“Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock. And everyone who listens to these words of mine but does not act on them will be like a fool who built his house on sand. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. And it collapsed and was completely ruined.”

When Jesus finished these words, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as one having authority, and not as their scribes.

Repleksiyon:

Importante sa pagka-tawo nato na mahipundar an pundasyon nan ato tinuohan sanan Kristohanong kinabuhi para maareglar nato an ato personal sanan espirituwal na pagkatawo.

Amo seguro ini an gusto ipahimo dato ni Jesus para kita makapangandam na maka-suyod sa Kingdon of heaven.

Seguraduhon gajud nato na an ato pagka-Kristiyano tinood, hugot sanan klaro kay bisan gani kuno an mga motawag kan Jesus na “Lord,” waya pa ma’y gani kasegurohan na mahilangit.

Kinahanglan gajud na mosunod sanan himoon gajud nato an mga sugo ni God sumaya sa mga pagtudlo ni Jesus para mahi-andam nato an ato kinabuhi sa kalangitan pag-abot nan panahon.

22062016 Gospel Mt 7:15-20

Beware of false prophets: they come to you in sheep’s clothing; but inside, they are voracious wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Do you ever pick grapes from thorn bushes; or figs, from thistles?

A good tree always produces good fruit. A rotten tree produces bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit; and a rotten tree cannot bear good fruit. Any tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruit.

Repleksiyon:
