20170830 Gospel Mt 23:27-32

Jesus said, "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You are like whitewashed tombs, which appear beautiful on the outside, but inside are full of dead men's bones and every kind of filth. Even so, on the outside you appear righteous, but inside you are filled with hypocrisy and evildoing.

"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the memorials of the righteous, and you say, 'If we had lived in the days of our ancestors, we would not have joined them in shedding the prophets' blood.' Thus you bear witness against yourselves that you are the children of those who murdered the prophets; now fill up what your ancestors measured out!"

Reflection:

Juhot kita sa mga scribe sanan sa mga Pharisee kay arang sila ka magpaka-aron-ingnon, marajaw sila mameke nan ila mga lihok sanan bagan permi sila mga tarong sa ila mga pamayhon.

Marajaw sila tan’awon sa gawas nan ila mga pisikal na appearance pero sa ilayum nan ila mga kasing-kasing, mayaot an ila mga batasan.

Pero kon ibutang nato an ato mga kaugalingon sa ila mga kahimtang kay mosugot kita kon dili, usahay may pagka-mapaka-aron-ingnon man ‘sab kita, uno kaha an ato itubag kan Jesus kon kita an ija tag-saway sanan tag-pama’baan?

Amo na kinahanglang ipangaliya gajud nato kan Lord na mapukaw Nija an ato mga konsensiya pinaagi kan Holy Spirit para madawat nato an ato mga sajop sa kinabuhi na kinahanglan magresulta nan ato paghinulsol sa ato mga pagpakasaya batok Dija.
