20170302 Gospel Lk 9:22-25

Jesus said to his disciples: "The Son of Man must suffer greatly and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed and on the third day be raised."

Then he said to all, "If anyone wishes to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. What profit is there for one to gain the whole world yet lose or forfeit himself?"

An hagit ni Jesus sa Ija mga disciple na mosunod Dija, amo ‘sab na hagit para dato tanan, dili kon masajon kay hamimis ‘kaw ‘ton na duro man na mga sakripisyo an ato himoon!

Dili baja lalim na magmahal sa tawo na dili angajan mahalon; magpasaylo sa tawo na nakasaya dato; magpaka-marajaw sa mga tawo na mayaot an kabubut’on; mag-antos nan kasip’ganan; kaakusahan na dili kon guilty; sanan, mag-antos para sa iban na tawo.

Pero amo ini an kinahanglan nato himoon para mamahimo kita na andam para sa kinabuhi didto sa kalangitan pag-abot nan panahon.
